Pastor Chris Hall

Chris was born, adopted, and raised in Florida. He met the Lord in 1997 at age 24 and developed a love to study Scripture, theology, and apologetics. He is passionate about sharing the Gospel and equipping the Church to articulate Christ with the lost at every opportunity. He puts great emphasis on scriptural exposition and its application. Around the year 2000 Chris considered his convictions, passion, and guidance to pursue preparation for pastoral service. Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from The Baptist College of Florida in 2007. Chris came to be pastor at FBC Sorrento on September 18, 2011. He has been employed at C&B Electrical Contractors of Florida, Inc. since 1996. Chris and his wife Tara live in Apopka with their two daughters Leah and Hannah. Chris and Tara met in his first semester of college (2002) and before he graduated they were married with both daughters.

Youth Outreach Peter O'Driscoll

Peter O’Driscoll started helping with our Wednesday evening Youth Outreach to Sorrento area young people in April of 2020.

He founded the Orlando Children’s Church in 2002, but took a step back to incorporate a Christian non-profit school for the same kind of children. The O’Driscoll Christian school, Lord willing, will start August 10 of 2021.

The vision is to provide a quality Christian education free of cost for Orlando’s poorest and most neglected children. The school will have some paid staff but will rely heavily on volunteers that will work with and mentor the children while helping them academically.

Peter currently volunteers in the public school system and has had a passion to reach at-risk and hurting children and to win them to Jesus Christ for over two decades. You may contact him at 407.760.4402 should you wish to talk with him.
