Highlights of Upcoming Events for November

• Tuesday night Bible study
  Every Tuesday evening @ 7 PM
• Estudios Biblico en Español
  Jueves @ 7:00 pm
• Church-wide Work Day
  Saturday, November 15 @ 8:30 AM
• Thanksgiving Service
  Sunday, November 23 @ 10 AM. This will be the only worship service on this day. It is also the day Samaritan's Purse shoeboxes are due for Operation Christian Child.
• No Wednesday Activities on November 26
  All activities are cancelled this night because of the Thanksgiving holiday
• Thanksgiving Day - November 27
  The church office will be closed for the holiday.
• Committees Meeting - November 30
  Newly elected committees will begin meeting on November 30 @ 6:30 pm and will continue for 2 more weeks. The committees that are meeting this evening are Finance, Helping Hands/Prayer, Buildings/Grounds, and Nursery.

Activities in December

Annual Business Meeting - December 7 @ 6:00 pm
The primary purpose of this meeting is to adopt the 2009 annual budget.

Committees Meeting - December 7 @ 6:30 pm
The newly elected committees meeting this evening are Flower/Decoration/Social, Ushers/Greeters, Transportation, Missions, and Food Pantry.

Chamber of Commerce Community Breakfast
Tuesday, December 9 @ 7:30 am. Everyone in the area invited. Cost: $6.00

Carols in the Country - Community Christmas
Sponsored by the East Lake County Chamber of Commerce. Held at the Sorrento Library Tuesday, December 9 starting at 7 pm. There will be carols, pictures with Santa, food, and fun.

Church Family Banquet with Hope Street
Saturday, December 13 @ 6:00 pm - The youth will be serving the meals to raise money for their upcoming trip to Gatlinburg.

Committees Meeting - December 14 @ 6:30 pm
The newly elected committees meeting this evening are Sunday School teachers/helpers and Children's Church teachers/helpers/

No Wednesday activities on Christmas Eve - Dec 24
The church office will be closed and there will be no evening activities.

Youth Trip to Gatlinburg
The youth will leave for Gatlinburg on Friday, December 26 and return Monday, December 29. Ask Phil Windall about times.

Special Service - December 31
The English service will be at its usual time of 7:00 pm with an emphasis on the New Year.
The Spanish service will begin at 9 pm and continue through midnight.
